President and Founder
Heather McKenzie is the founder of Muse Interiors. She grew up in the Laguna Beach art community and came to fall in love with art and design. She attended FIDM and interned for a model home design firm and from there, she was hooked. She is a true designer at heart with over 25 years of experience, whose passion for design has shaped her unique approach. She has a vision of creating inspired spaces and loves to collaborate with the client. Independently, Heather also worked in high end custom home design in Orange County for several years throughout her career. So, with her wide range of professional abilities, opening Muse Interiors made sense. She designs with a cohesive style that brings harmony and balance together to create a new story with each design.
Jasmine Farshidfard
Design Director
Jasmine serves as the Design Director at Muse Interiors. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Interior Designers Institute, laying a strong foundation for her career. During her studies, Jasmine honed her skills and discovered her true calling while working for a model home company, igniting a deep love for crafting interiors that resonate with purpose and beauty. Her approach to design is profoundly influenced by her travels, the intricate beauty of nature, and her rich cultural heritage. Jasmine views every project as an opportunity to tell a unique story, blending creativity with functionality to create spaces that leave a lasting impression. By combining her technical expertise with years of hands-on experience, she consistently delivers interiors that are both innovative and timeless, reflecting her commitment to excellence and originality.
